Our team consists of passionate professionals driven by a shared vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future through innovation, technology, and excellence.In this role, you will be instrumental in the Battery Cell Institute, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting -edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation. Lead the design,development, and evaluation of new materials (anodes, cathodes, electrolytes,separators) for battery applications of lithium -ion, sodium -ion and solid statebattery.Collaborate withR&D teams, academic partners, and manufacturing units to transfer lab -scaleinnovations to production.Conduct advancedmaterial characterization using techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Raman,FTIR, and EIS.Transfer academicresearch findings into scalable technologies for commercial battery production.Evaluate andimprove material performance related to energy density, cycle life, thermalstability, and safety.Work closely withuniversities and research consortia on funded collaborative projects.Stay abreast ofemerging trends in battery materials, publishing in journals or presenting atindustry conferences.Lead technologytransfer projects for raw materials (e.g., cathode/anode active materials,binders, electrolytes, solvents, separators) from global suppliers toVietnam -based manufacturers.Contribute tointellectual property (IP) development, including patents and technicaldocumentationProvide technical mentorship to junior engineers,interns.RequirementsPh.D.or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or arelated field.10+years of combined experience in both academic and industrial battery R&Denvironments.Deepknowledge of materials used in lithium -ion, sodium -ion, solid -state, or otheradvanced battery chemistries.Hands -onexperience with technology transfer or localization projects, especiallyinvolving cross -border collaboration.Demonstratedtrack record of peer -reviewed publications and/or patents.Stronganalytical, problem -solving, and communication skills.Experiencein scale -up of battery materials or pilot -scale testing.Priorcollaboration with national labs or government -funded battery programs.Familiarity with sustainability practices andlife -cycle analysis of battery materials.Experience working in cross -functional teams includingengineers, chemists, and data scientistsBy sending your application, you confirm that you have read Vingroup's Personal Data Protection Policy ("Policy") published on the website:  -policy/, agree to the contents of the Policy, and consent to our processing of your personal data in your application according to the legal regulations on personal data protection. ​ To all recruitment agencies:VinFast does not accept agency resumes.
