Our team comprisespassionate professionals driven by a shared vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future through innovation,technology, and excellence.In this role, you will beinstrumental in the Exterior Department, using your skills to process andanalyze large volumes of data.You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, QualityControl, VINFAST's suppliers,to create cutting -edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Subject Matter Expert with extensive experience in the design,development, manufacturing, and validation of automotive exterior components,specializing in bumpers, grilles, trims, ornamentation parts and plasticshields. Skilled in material selection, injection molding processes,surface finishing technologies, and integration with vehicle styling and safetyrequirements. Proven track record of leading cross -functional teams, ensuringregulatory compliance, and delivering cost -effective and innovative solutionsthat enhance vehicle performance, aesthetics, and craftsmanship. 1.Product Development • Concept -to -launch development ofbumpers, grilles, and exterior trims. • Deep knowledge of Class A surface management for exterior ornamentation. • Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5) and tolerance stack -up for precise fit& finish. • Expertise in DFMEA, DVP&R, PPAP, APQP for plastic parts. 2. Materials & Processes • Strong knowledge of thermoplastics (PP, ABS, PC+ABS, ASA, PMMA, PA6, PCblends). • Expertise in injection molding, gas -assisted molding, 2K molding, insertmolding. • Familiar with painting, chrome plating, hot stamping, laser etching, PVD,hydro -graphics for ornamentation parts. • Experience with recycled and sustainable plastics for light -weighting andeco -compliance. 3. Manufacturing & Quality • Understanding of mold design, tooling, cooling, gating systems. • Troubleshooting warpage, sink marks, weld lines, flow marks, surface defects. • Experience in robotics & automation in injection molding lines. • Knowledge of process capability (Cp, Cpk), SPC, and Six Sigma tools. 4. Testing & Validation & Regulatory • Bumper impact performance (FMVSS, ECE, NCAP, IIHS, ISO). • Environmental validation: UV, humidity, heat aging, thermal cycling. • Scratch, mar, chemical resistance, and adhesion tests for surface finishes. • Fit & finish audits for exterior trims and ornamentation parts. • ADAS integration and requirements 5. Cross -functional Collaboration • Interface with design studio, body engineering, lighting, and safetyteams. • Collaboration with suppliers, mold makers, and Tier 1 manufacturers. • Cost optimization through VA/VE and DFM (Design for Manufacturability). 6. New Technology • Familiarity with new technology and trends for the future Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). • 10+ years of experience in automotive bumpers, grilles, trims,ornamentation parts and plastic shields.  • Strong knowledge of technologies, regulations, and manufacturingprocesses. • Proven leadership and project management skills. • Experience working with CAD, simulation tools, and software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and cross -functional teams. •Experience working with global automotive OEMs and Tier -1 suppliers. ​• Effective communicator across engineering, manufacturing, and stylingteams. • Problem -solving mindset with structured root cause analysis (5Why, Fish -bone). • Innovative thinker, balancing design intent, manufacturability, and cost.
