We are excited to welcome a new team member to our growing business as a Technical Engineer.
The Team
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product, Innovation & Sustainability team and work in synergy with our manufacturing partners. Your primary responsibility will be guiding new product projects and engineering through to manufacturing sign-off.
The Role
You will specialise in Footwear engineering with a background that includes injection moulding of footwear. The role will add key expertise in driving our product development initiatives, ensuring the highest quality, on-time performance and innovation standards across our diverse footwear range.
This role works in close partnership with our overseas manufacturing partners and will spend a proportion of their time working across Thailand and Vietnam. With some travel expected to China, India and Mexico.

Your Experience
- High level of leather knowledge and current best practice.
- Experience partnering with tanneries and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply.
- Ability to select and specify leathers that balance performance, cost and sustainability.
- Confidence guiding factories on appropriate handling and construction to achieve reliable results
- Pattern and product engineering expertise using CAD tools
- In-depth knowledge of Direct injection moulding for footwear production
- Proficiency in mould development
- Strong grasp of global industrial safety standards
- Expert level of manufacturing methods across multiple constructions
- Acumen in manufacturing production standards and methods
- Familiarity with leather and material properties
