Position Overview

The Director of Admissions is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all admission activities of the School, with the goal of attracting both local and international students.

The focus of this position is to
expand the student recruitment network
from
Lào Cai and nearby provinces
, as well as
Hanoi, Da Nang
, and
international markets
(especially
China and Southeast Asia
), while ensuring a professional and welcoming admissions experience aligned with the development direction of an international school.

Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement annual recruitment strategies aligned with the School's development goals.
  • Identify and expand new recruitment channels in Northern, Central, and international markets.
  • Propose creative programs, events, workshops, and admissions fairs to promote the School's image and attract parents and students.
  • Regularly analyze market trends, competitors, and parent feedback to optimize recruitment effectiveness.

2. Domestic Admissions

  • Strengthen the School's presence in Lào Cai and nearby provinces through cooperation with local authorities, schools, and communities.
  • Build relationships with agents, educational organizations, and parents in Hanoi to attract boarding students interested in UK-standard curricula.
  • Represent the School at domestic education fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events.

3. International Admissions

  • Develop and maintain relationships with overseas study consultants, schools, and international agencies, especially in
    China, Hong Kong, Taiwan
    , and
    Southeast Asia
    .
  • Coordinate communication campaigns, promotional materials, and online seminars targeting international parents.
  • Support the entire international admissions process—from consultation and application to enrollment—ensuring compliance with regulations of the
    Ministry of Education and Training
    and immigration laws.

4. Admissions Operations

  • Manage and oversee the admissions team to ensure professionalism, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy in registration, evaluation, and enrollment processes.
  • Be responsible for
    re-enrollment
    targets to retain students each academic year.
  • Ensure the student database and admissions reports are complete and accurate.

5. Communication and Promotion

  • Collaborate with the
    Marketing Department
    to implement promotional campaigns and communication materials for admissions.
  • Manage multilingual communication channels across the website, fanpage, brochures, and other publications.
  • Organize and participate in events, open days, and experiential programs to enhance the School's brand recognition and academic reputation.

6. Team Management and Training

  • Lead and coach the admissions team to ensure a professional and friendly working style.
  • Train staff on communication, consultation skills, and cultural awareness—especially when working with Chinese-speaking or international parents.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth onboarding for new students.

Minimum Skills and Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience:
    Strong experience in local & international admissions (K12, Higher Education...)
  • English:
    Proficient in all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
