Role Description

I. Financial Reporting & Corporate Planning

  1. Monthly/Quarterly Reporting:

  2. Work on timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports for all subsidiaries with each BU's accountants in Vietnam and SEA.

  3. Prepare a comprehensive Variance Analysis (Actual vs. Budget and Actual vs. Prior Period) for all operational departments and consolidated performance.
  4. Conduct financial analysis of product lines and maintain profitability analysis of each product.

  5. Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and note disclosures in accordance with IFRS and Vietnam tax standards as required. Work with Group Finance on quarter reports under the Group's requirements.

  6. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  7. Manage and maintain the annual operating budget and update quarterly rolling forecasts.

3.   Other accounting tasks

  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Tax and accounting advice for other departments in subsidiaries.

II. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) - Domestic & Overseas

  1. Due Diligence (DD) & Cross-Border Focus:

  2. Support the tax and finance due diligence process, paying special attention to tax risks.

  3. Work with the M&A team to understand the Target's accounting/tax practices to mitigate gaps after acquisition.

  4. Transaction Support:

  5. Prepare a Step plan (finance structure) for an M&A deal.

  6. Fundraising and preparation for cash and transactions (Group finance/Banks…)

3.   Finance Integration:

  • o   Work with new BU's BOD and Accounting team to understand Group Accounting policies and procedures.
  • o   Work with Group Finance for post-acquisition deliverables.
  • o   Advise the new BU's accounting team to standardize the Chart of Accounts (COA), cost center, department codes, and reporting.
  • o   Ensure the acquired company's financial practices are compliant with the Parent Company's IFRS policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    3-4 years
    of progressive experience in corporate finance, auditing, and accounting.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong communication skills (written and verbal), ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail.
