Our client is a leading education group seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure cost optimization, and drive financial efficiency across the School. This role plays a key part in managing the finance team, supervising budgets, controlling risks, and providing insights that support the School's sustainable growth.
Key Objectives:
- Manage and assign tasks to the Financial Specialists team.
- Analyze financial performance, propose improvement initiatives, optimize costs, and drive financial growth opportunities.
- Supervise the preparation, implementation, and compliance of the School's budget plan.
- Control expenses, prevent fraud and financial violations, and oversee overall operational control.
- Coordinate the update of the centralized financial database (dataroom).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop monthly and quarterly work plans for the finance team, assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor progress and quality.
- Evaluate staff performance and support professional development.
- Conduct regular financial performance analysis by business segment and develop reports with recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Propose process and financial efficiency improvements.
- Review and validate departmental budget proposals, monitor actual spending versus approved budgets, and provide early warnings and reports on overspending or financial risks.
- Enforce cost control based on approved standards and policies, ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks, detect violations, and propose preventive actions.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and updated on time; collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain data integrity, synchronization, and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing; ACCA, CPA, or CMA certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 7–8 years of experience in corporate financial control or internal audit, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (Team Leader or Senior Specialist) in financial analysis at large-scale corporations or equivalent.
- Experience in the education sector or multi-entity organizations is an advantage.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in cost management, internal control, financial reporting, and dashboard development.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or ERP systems.
- Inspirational leadership, adaptability, and the ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
