Roles & Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting
Advise the BD team regarding strategy in approaching potential customers and the wider market, based on comprehensive market reviews.
Identify and support initiatives to reach out to existing customers and identify new opportunities on a regular basis.
Communicate with high-profile prospects about APL Logistics solutions to convert them into active leads.
Collaborate with the sales team to support business development initiatives
Coordinate with operations from end-to-end to create LP and sign-off · Apply customer profile in CW & ACSR & VC
Rate filling and submit QP to GBS for billing master data
Sales Opportunities Creation
Work closely with Operations or relevant stakeholders to ensure infrastructure for potential pipeline is in place.
Maintain oversight of the commercial pipeline to identify potential upcoming large size and complex new business acquisitions.
Work closely with the BD team to understand the state of the sales pipeline and the specifics of potential new clients in order to prepare to meet their needs.
Uncover customers' and prospects' interests to develop into solid sales opportunities for the BD team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales/sales support and logistics
Good analytical skills to interpret market data and trends effectively.
Process management/improvement experience to enhance operational efficiency.
Project management skills to oversee initiatives and ensure timely execution.
