JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Support will report to the Southeast Asia Sales Director TE,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role plays a critical part in supporting are as follows:

  • Net Margin Calculation:
    A dedicated professional can analyze cost structures, identify areas for cost optimization, and ensure that pricing strategies align with profit targets.
  • Project Involvement and Performance Analysis
    : This role facilitates projects and performance analysis provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of pricing strategies and their impact on overall business goals. This role can identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Sales Progress Tracking and Follow-up:
    The role helps monitor periodic sales progress which is crucial for understanding market dynamics and making timely adjustments to pricing strategies.
  • Strategic Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: The incumbent shall handle customer requests through portals and providing timely feedback demonstrates a commitment to customer engagement and satisfaction. Also, the role taker analyzes sales, volume, and profitability for target customers helps tailor pricing strategies to retain and grow these key relationships, thereby maintaining long-term revenue streams.
  • Supporting Sales Director:
    The employee assists the Sales Director with day-to-day requirements enables efficient operations within the sales team. This support ensures that the team's efforts are optimized and frees up the Sales Director's time to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Promotion and Marketing Support:
    This role supports to arrange brochures, samples, and promotional tools based on team requests facilitates effective marketing and sales efforts - creating a consistent and compelling brand trust and image.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Pricing Management – Involvement in Pricing Decisions, Net Margin Calculation.
  • Involvement in Projects, Action Plan and Performance analysis.
  • Status of Weekly, Monthly sales progress and follow up.
  • Analysis on Sales, Volume and Profitability on Strategic Customers.
  • Manage the customer request on PEHS through portal and ensure timely feedback.
  • Keep clear records of contracts and other important data to assist team.
  • Provide Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports on Sales, Pricing, and another agreed format.
  • Assist the Sales Director with the day-to day requirements and ensure assigned job are attended timely and pro-active actions are taken.
  • Arrange Brochures, Samples and Other promotion tools based on the request from team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business.
  • Experience: 4+ years experiences on Sales Support, Customer Service, Supply Chain, analysis, or data preparation etc.
  • Analytical Skills – would need to analyze sales trend, raise alerts to the team, Offenders etc.
  • Margin – Ability to understand various cost components, Margin Trend, Offenders etc.
  • Project Management- Coordinate project with TR & Sales team, report progress

KEY COMPETENCIES

Know-how/skills:

  • High Excel and SAP Skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Local / other language skills are an asset.
