NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 01

RESPONSIBLE ITEMS: Items serving factories - spare parts, MRO, construction, etc.

WORKING LOCATIONS:

  • HCM Office: 10 Mai Chi Tho Street, Thu Thiem, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

A. JOB PURPOSE:

  • Act as purchasing agent by being involved in sourcing and purchasing non-feed (non-material) goods/items locally/overseas on a timely and cost effective basis while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.

B. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Procurement Execution

  2. Responsible to buy spare parts, equipment, consumables, and repair services, construction and renovation projects for factory and farm.

  3. Search & propose the suitable & qualified suppliers for the relevant goods/items.
  4. Receive Purchasing Request and work more with Requester/User to verify quality, specs, quantity, and lead time, etc.
  5. Assure the proper involvement of all functions for technical and demand clarification to achieve the targets/ strategies.
  6. Contact supplier to obtain quotations, compare price, create Purchase Order.
  7. Execute negotiations/ price discussions with suppliers.

  8. Build up the effective partnerships with stakeholders e.g. Production, Logistics, Accounting.

  9. Work closely with Legal & Compliance team to be advised about legal documents (Contract, Non - disclosure Agreement...) when discussing with suppliers in terms of quality, delivery, payment...

  10. Review and update periodically according to market analysis.

  11. Strictly follow the Code of conduct (Anti - corruption) of the purchasing activities.

  12. Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with related users, vendors, and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.

  14. Report as required.

  15. Improve the purchasing cost of purchased non-materials, e.g. initiate and drive cost down projects at the suppliers' and involve the appropriate team, e.g. value analysis, decrease of technical requirements.
  16. Others as assigned by superior.

C. EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Obtain the best conditions of procurement for company.
  • Provide procurement services on time & the best.
  • Reduce the purchase costs at minimum prices.

  • University graduate.

EXPERIENCES

  • Min 2-4 years of working experience in procurement.
  • Knowledge in foreign trade, global commercial acts and rules.
