About position:

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the design and construction of UNIQLO stores across Vietnam. The position is ideal for candidates with strong technical and coordination skills who are eager to grow within a fast-paced retail environment. You will be involved in day-to-day project execution, site supervision, permit handling, and vendor coordination.

* This position is individual contributor and open for Vietnamese nationality only.

Job Description:

1. Execution & Site Coordination

  • Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Support final inspections and handover to store operations.

2. Design Support

  • Assist in developing store layouts and architectural drawings.
  • Ensure design documents meet operational and branding requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to finalize layout approvals.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Prepare and submit permit applications for construction and fire safety.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and track approvals.
  • Coordinate with local consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Support bidding processes and vendor selection.
  • Monitor construction progress and report issues to the Store Design Manager.

4. Cost & Quality Control

  • Assist in selecting construction materials and verifying quality.
  • Track project expenses and support cost-saving initiatives
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress reports to management

Job Requisition:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in retail store design and construction project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of building structures, MEP systems, and fire safety regulations.
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to travel frequent.
  • English: business level (written & verbal)
