**YOUR NEW ROLE CODE LEAP**:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is perfect for team players with a strong interest in developing their international career - not just as a coder, but as a product builder.

**YOUR EXCITING TASKS**:

- Design and build backend services using Node.js/TypeScript
- Write high quality, optimized, and reusable code
- Review the code and provide feedback on possible problems
- Analyze, debug, and fix complex bugs
- Work with an international team based in Vietnam and Germany
- Write comprehensive technical documents
- Join forces with the backend team, mentor juniors, and actively contribute ideas to product success

**YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR PERSONALITY**:

- At least 4 years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS preferred)
- Experience with microservices architecture, modular monolith using message queue system (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Hands-on experience in system architecture design
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Strong experience with RDBMS (especially PostgreSQL), including designing relational database, query optimization and performance troubleshooting
- Practical experience with NoSQL
- Experience with runtime validators (e.g., Zod, io-ts)
- Experience with Unit test and end-to-end testing
- Hands-on experience with reading and understanding technical documents
- You understand and know how to prioritize your tasks with a problem-solving mindset
- You don't take things personally and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development
- You don't wait for others to tell you what you need to do but proactively reach out to people, communicate, ask for help, and get things done
- You feel comfortable communicating in the English language

**Nice to have**
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platform (esp. Azure)
- Have experience working with Kubernetes, Docker
