**Job description**:
**The Role**:
We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Ho Chi Minh City. You'll work on sophisticated technology that impacts how the world's top mobile games market themselves to hundreds of millions of players.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Architect and implement robust backend services that power our AI-driven ad analysis and generation pipeline
- Build scalable systems for processing and analyzing large volumes of video ad performance data
- Develop sophisticated APIs that enable real-time ad performance analysis and automated storyboard generation
- Design efficient data structures and algorithms for our reference ad search and recommendation systems
- Collaborate with our ML engineering team to integrate and scale AI capabilities in production
- Drive technical decisions that will shape our platform's architecture

**Your skills and experience**:
**Required Experience**:

- 5+ years of backend development experience with distributed systems
- Strong experience with Golang, or demonstrated expertise in similar languages with ability to become proficient in Golang quickly
- Track record of delivering complex features independently
- Experience building and maintaining production REST APIs
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and clean code principles
- Professional English communication skills (Vietnamese language skills welcome)

**Essential Qualities**:

- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership of deliverables
- Excellence in time management and ability to meet ambitious deadlines
- Clear communication skills, especially around technical constraints and trade-offs
- Proactive in identifying and resolving potential blockers
- Enthusiasm for working in the gaming industry (prior gaming experience not required)

**Interview Process**:
Our streamlined interview process consists of 3 rounds and is fully in English:
**Round 1**: Initial Technical Screen (45-60 mins)
- Algorithm problem-solving exercise
- Technical background discussion with CTO
- High-level experience overview

If passed, you get a **1 week take-home project**.

**Round 2**: Project Review (45-60 mins)
- Present your take-home project implementation
- Technical deep-dive with Senior Backend Engineer and CTO (Vietnamese possibility for help with clarity)
- Architecture and scalability discussion

If passed, you are to meet with the founders to talk about startup fit and understand the vision.

**Round 3**: Final Leadership Conversation (60 mins)
- Vision alignment with CEO and CTO
- Culture and team fit discussion
- Two-way Q&A about growth opportunities
