Role Overview

We’re looking for a **Mid/Senior Backend Engineer - Blockchain & Data** to join the Cerebro project. You’ll work on high-performance backend services to collect and process **on-chain data**, integrate with multiple blockchain APIs, and ensure our data pipelines are scalable and reliable.

This role requires strong **Node.js engineering skills**, experience with blockchain ecosystems, and a deep understanding of performance optimization in backend systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain **on-chain data collectors** for Ethereum, Solana, and other blockchains.
- Work extensively with **Node.js** to implement services and integrate with the broader Cerebro system.
- Integrate with blockchain APIs and RPC providers (Alchemy, Debank, Infura, QuickNode, etc.).
- Process wallet, transaction, and token data, ensuring **high accuracy and reliability**.
- Optimize database performance for real-time workloads (MongoDB, Redis).
- Collaborate with ML/AI engineers to provide clean data pipelines for analytics and LLM/agent systems.
- Contribute to overall system design and scaling strategy.

**Requirements**:

- **3+ years** of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in **Node.js** (async programming, performance optimization, service design).
- Solid understanding of **EVM-based chains** and/or Solana.
- Experience working with blockchain APIs, RPCs, and data indexers.
- Familiarity with **token standards** (ERC-20, ERC-721, SPL).
- Hands-on experience with **databases**: MongoDB, TimescaleDB, Redis (schema design, indexing, optimization).
- Good understanding of distributed systems, real-time pipelines, and API design.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with **Rust** or **Elixir** for blockchain data services.
- Knowledge of **machine learning pipelines** and financial data modeling.
- Background in **portfolio analytics** or trading-related systems.
- Familiarity with **LangGraph** or LLM-powered agent systems.
