**Job Description**:
**Job Purpose**:
To promote the success of the company by directing the company’s financial affairs, within a framework of prudent and effective controls, which enable risk to be assessed and managed through focus on Finances, Operations, People, Customers, Systems, Culture and Compliance in adherence to the company’s policy and procedures._._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day to day Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Credit, GL, Capital Expenditure, Payroll, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Cost_ _Accounting.
- Prepare timely internal monthly accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Analysis) for review by the Regional and Global Accounting teams.
- Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and tax computations.
- Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues including the preparation and submission of information to statutory authorities for Payroll, VAT and Corporation Tax.
- Provide required information/documentation for Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy.
- Maintain a good relationship and communicate frequently with Operations.
- Provide support to the District Manager, specifically during the Annual Budgeting process.
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts (sales and purchases) and policies.
- Continually provide coaching and training to the team members

**Qualifications**:

- University graduation or equivalent qualification;4 years of experience
- Global Logistics Industry knowledge
- Local tax and regulatory knowledge, including Statutory Chart of Accounts
- Good understanding of business as well as up to date knowledge of Accounting Rules & Regulations (preferably including US GAAP)
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to the details
- Fluent in English
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to financial persons as well as non-financial persons at all levels from Operations to Senior Management to obtain positive results.
