A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Accounting Specialist at ESI Viet Nam Co.,Ltd, you will partner with Sales, logistic, accounting share service teams and other internal teams. In this role, you will report to the MSD Finance Controller.

You Will Make an Impact By:

- Participate in month-end close process. Perform as a main contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing process for ESI Vietnam.
- Prepare billing, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance commentary on the balance sheet flux analysis.
- Drive strong internal controls to ensure compliance of financial reporting requirements and maintain proper SOX documentation.
- Prepare VAT filing data and coordinate with third party agents/consultants to file monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
- Prepare and or assist with assigned internal and external audit requests.
- Work closely with ESI internal partners including Sales, logistic, accounting share service team for import/export, VAT/Duty supports in Vietnam.
- Deliver accurate and timely declaration of various statistical reports
- Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks as required

Skills You Bring:

- BA/BS or equivalent educational background in accounting or finance, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Understand US GAAP
- 4+ years of experience in as an accounting specialist.
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize responsibilities as appropriate.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in ERP system (SAP is a plus). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables is a plus
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in SAP system is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables is a plus
- Experience in working with local tax authorities is a plus
