**Job description**:

- Are you ready to be a key member of Agile teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment?_ Join Alpaca Vietnam as a **Assistant Project Manager** and play a critical role in driving the success of Software Outsourcing Projects in the BFSI domain. You’ll work closely with BU Heads and cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, Finance) to ensure project progress, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. This is a key supporting role for those who want to grow into a Project Manager in the future.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Coordination**:

- Track project progress, assist with scheduling, update documentation, and follow up on contracts and payment timelines.
- Coordinate resources between software development teams, QA, and clients.
- **Agile/Scrum Process Support**:Help organize Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews), maintain Jira boards, and manage sprint backlogs.
- **Tools & Workflow**:Maintain project data in Jira and ERP systems, support teams in using project tracking tools efficiently.
- **Budget & Financial Performance**:

- Work with the Finance team to monitor project budgets, evaluate profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the **Project Manager** in resource optimization to maintain profit margins.
- **Client & Partner Communication**:Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients, gather feedback, clarify requirements, and support issue resolution.

**Your skills and experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in Project Coordination or Assistant PM roles, preferably in IT/software outsourcing.
- Experience in managing projects with budgets above 100,000 USD
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum; CSM or PSM certification is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, ERP, and the ability to track and optimize business processes
- Understanding of project budgeting and cost tracking.
- Good written & spoken English; Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with quick and effective decision-making abilities
