We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an **Transfer Agency Officer (GCB7)** **Principal Accountabilities** - ** Operations Management** - Perform daily operation for TA Services, including account opening, transaction processing, Fund reconciliation, information maintenance, FATCA Maintenance, entity creation and mapping rules for calculation fees... for the Opened Ended Fund (“OEF”). - Extract and prepare TA’s internal reports, such as Transaction monitoring report, Outstanding transaction report, Reversal transaction report... - Handle payment process to the funds' investors, distributors and internal payment for OEFs - Prepare/ send the periodic reports and ad-hoc reports for Fund manager, distributors and investors. - Prepare and send reports to Fund Accounting team, Supervisory Bank team and Client Services team - Assist transfer agency team in preparing internal reports and draft procedures related to daily operations as per internal policy. - Join the review Operational Memorandum (“OM")/ / fund documents with team. - Work with support team for client/ fund request. Join testing to enhance or fix TA system as per internal/ external requests. Prepare and send Debit Note to client - Support to join some Projects of Transfer Agency team. - Work with related parties to solve/ enhance for the issues/ new initiatives of the team **2..Service Management** - Maintain turn-around time on queries and provided tactful reply to complaints - No complaints from the clients regarding late delivery of reports to FMC or Distributors - Handle exception cases -cases highlighted from Fund Manager and Distributors **3. Communications & Teamwork** - Liaise with other internal functions to ensure the delivery of transfer agency service effectively and efficiently. - Perform other internal control tasks or other relevant tasks and back-up for team members as assigned by Manager - Assist Checker/ Line manager in enhancing a teamwork spirit among team members **4.** **Controls & Risk Mitigation** - Ensure implementation of audit recommendations within stipulated timelines - Comply with all internal/regulatory reporting requirements on a timely basis - To manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting **5. Maintain HSBC control standards and follow Group Compliance Policy to minimize operational risk by**: - Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines. - Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations. - Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators Qualifications You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
