We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Consultant to join our team at Peak Ocean Group. The Consultant will play a critical role in managing the movement of our workforce in Vietnam.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Planning and Policy Development**
- Collaborate with senior management to align global mobility strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and tax requirements in Malaysia.

**Workforce Deployment**
- Oversee the recruitment, relocation, and integration of international employees.
- Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams to identify and attract top talent from around the world.
- Manage the logistics of international assignments, including visa processing, housing, and transportation.

**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Ensure all international assignments comply with local and international laws and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential mobility-related issues.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies and tax laws and adjust company policies accordingly.

**Employee Support and Development**
- Provide support to employees and their families during the relocation process, including pre-departure briefings and cultural training.
- Develop and implement programs to support the well-being and professional development of international assignees.
- Facilitate the repatriation process, ensuring a smooth transition back to the home country.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Work closely with various departments, including HR, Legal, and Operations
- Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on activities and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including immigration attorneys, tax consultants, and relocation service providers.
- Business development : to address any business development initiatives in Malaysia.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration or in sales, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of international labor laws, immigration regulations, and tax implications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
