**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Effectively communicate and help advance the company’s business agenda, manage its reputation and positively influence targeted key stakeholders.
- Provide advice, counsel and direct support regarding all aspects of the Communications and CSR strategies which will regularly include media relations, employee communications, integrated marketing communications, executive communications, reputation management and crisis communications, community relations and investments communications, related to the company’s public affairs, sustainability, and Foundation priorities.
- Work closely with associates, agents and leaders to engage all parties in enhancing engagement and connectivity with customers and agents.

**General**
- Develop and deliver a cohesive and effective communications strategy, as well as an aligned, coherent, and engaging CSR program, for all audiences, in order to create, build and protect a strong reputation for the company that helps it to achieve its business ambitions in Vietnam.
- Use traditional media, social media and internal communications channels to promote products, programs and initiatives in support of the company’s strategic goals.
- Support and drive the global and regional communications goals, in alignment with local needs to ensure associates are connected to, and engaged with, the global organization.
- Identify and surface potential issues and reputational threats in Vietnam and collaborate with key local and regional leaders to take appropriate actions to mitigate the impact on reputation.
- Work in close collaboration with global and regional Communications colleagues, local leaders and agent managers, and build strong relationships with local media to build and protect the reputation.

**Communications**
- Engage agents, associates, and customers with the above-mentioned communications strategies and activities to ensure that strategies are appropriately aligned with business ambitions and improve customer engagement.
- Support field communications with agents and bancassurance partners to ensure understanding of and support and its products and services, while also advocating and advancing the needs of agents and bancassurance partners with internal leaders to ensure the company, as a whole, is fully focused on delivering for its customers.
- Effectively manage communications channels to ensure that the appropriate balance of global, regional and local messages gives employees the information they want and need to do their jobs and feel engaged with and with one another.
- Create and deliver effective events and activities, including: managing all communications and public relations activities for the company (press conferences, company events); delivering reputation enhancing interviews and press coverage for the company; utilising non-traditional channels to expand reach for our company and our agents; delivering the annual Company Town Hall; managing all other internal communication channels
- Coordinate all communication channels with to ensure that customers and employees know and appreciate the value.
- Measure impact using externally sourced tools and seek feedback from key constituent groups to help gauge communications strategy effectiveness and adapt strategy implementation as warranted in keeping with feedback received.

**CSR**
- Create and deliver a strong community program to improve the brand, enhance goodwill and connectivity with customers, and engage our people and our agents
- Coordinate with Foundation on strategic and tactical activities under community activities
- Primary liaison with local NGOs and beneficiaries of grants
- Responsible for coordinating the efforts between local partners, staff and Foundation.
- Conduct field visits and internal surveys to ensure appropriateness of activities and confirm engagement targets are being met.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum university graduate, post-graduate degree is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services or a related or relevant field
- Proven understanding of communications and public relations skills sets, including but not limited to media engagement, press releases, internal and external communications, creation and analysis of effective surveys
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated capability for influencing and persuading a diverse set of stakeholders both within and without Vietnam
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese
- Proficient in MS Office and other publishing tools (Adobe, etc.)

**Leadership and professional competencies**:

- Experience of working with senior officials in state-owned enterprises, government bodies, NGOs and media
- Ability to quickly establish credibility in order to influence and engage with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of core public relations principles in order to effectively select and manage agencies and business partners
