**To support Vietnam in meeting its Net-Zero commitment in COP26 and minimize the impacts of climate change, we are looking for a passionate Communication Manager to join our team of industry experts to support the development of offshore wind projects in Vietnam.**

This a unique and challenging opportunity for a competent and experienced Communication Manager. You will become an integral part of the company and have distinct area responsibility for our projects in Vietnam. As our new Communication Manager, you will support the Government Relations Director in media agency management and communication campaigns to support advocacy activities on our projects in Vietnam, including support in building a brand strategy for COP/CIP in Vietnam, be in charge of communication tasks such as internal communications (drafting and maintaining LinkedIn page and other online tools), planning and execution of communications and media planning to support CSR projects, sponsorship, and company’s events, managing media agency (including providing content, input and reviewing press release and media deliverables) to lead to the development of favorable regulations and policies for offshore wind and improve the reputation of CIP/COP in Vietnam. You will report to the Government Relations Director.

The role will be based in our office in Hanoi, Vietnam on a local contract.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Branding: Support the Government Relations Director in building and regularly updating a brand strategy for COP/CIP to ensure the reputation and image building of the company in Vietnam.
- Media agency management: Daily monitoring the media agency to make sure they provide high-quality media services, including providing them with content and input related to the industry and company on time, reviewing their draft press release and media deliverables, guiding them on CIP/COP’s expected outcomes on branding and communications to lead to successful advocacy and communication on the development of favourable regulations and policies for offshore wind and improve the reputation of CIP/COP in Vietnam.
- Internal communications: Drafting and maintaining LinkedIn page and other online tools, supporting GR Director and/or Country Director to draft internal communication to be sent to HQ or among staff.
- Monitor and support the Community Affairs and event Manager in organizing the company’s events, sponsorships, workshops, and training.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with media, journalists, and third parties (experts, KoLs, etc).
- Support in engaging with local stakeholder team members to ensure provincial interfaces and alignment with the Hanoi office.
- Instigate and manage design work for communications to the public e.g. leaflets and external documentation.
- Perform other duties as required from time to time.

**Profile**

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about renewable energy and has a strong interest in learning about the offshore wind industry.

We work in an international environment, and it is therefore crucial that you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as speak and write in English fluently. It is also considered a great advantage to have a substantial general understanding of different cultures.

**Further qualifications for this position include**:

- Minimum 3 years related professional work experience.
- Passionate about renewable energy, with a strong interest to learn about the offshore wind industry.
- Top academic performer with extensive governmental and/or industry experience and an interest in large and complex infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of working with different cultures
- Experience in government relations and advocacy work
- Have excellent communication and personal skills
- A global mindset with an ability to communicate clearly
- Perseverance with an ability to prioritize and execute tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface effectively with local authorities, ministries, and community
