This role is to be a key part of PVA’s ambition of transforming into a data-led organization (going from descriptive to predictive analytics, going from hindsight to insight and foresight) both in planning and execution.
Developing business solutions through the constant modification of the existing business intelligence solutions and management systems. Be responsible for ensuring that data is used and stored appropriately within an organization.
- Build dashboard/ Business Intelligence analysis and system.
- Implement data governance process, that be embedded within the organization’s data creation, management and protection.
- Interacting actively with Data Analytic & Insight/ IT/ Financial Business Partner department to have a full picture about the business and seek their advice.
- Verify and document data rules, data dictionary for well-maintained & updated.
- Continuously upgrade data processing & visualization skill sets to catch up with new technology, new strategy.
- Handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure, and aggressive timeline.
- Clear and well-structured analytical plans; analyzes large datasets regarding to financial and non-financial.
- Facilitate productivity improvement by initiating and deploying automated reporting/ forecasting tools.
- Handle and instruct other departments about Finance-related operating manual & systems.
- Troubleshooting information storage issues.

Job requirement:
Education: Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Knowledge & Skills
- At least 03 years experiences of solid experience in business intelligence or business analytics in Insurance/ Finance/ Banking or equivalent position.
- Must be good knowledge in Excel, Access, SQL, VBA & Power BI in advanced.
- Familiarity with one of the programming language R/Python is a plus
- Inherently curious about data with a strong desire to keep up to date with the latest developments in analytics and machine learning.
- Be able to work independently and under pressure to meet the deadline committed in company level
- Be able to work with details and good analytical skills to deal with large of amount of complex data.
- Possess intermediate level in Critical thinking skill
- Can-do attitude
- Good communication skills in English, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
