**Responsibilities**:
- To take on the responsibility as the Subject Matter Expert in the security domain, which includes but not limited to the following technologies;
- Network Security
- Application Security
- Endpoints Security
- Cloud Security
- SIEM/SOAR/IAM
- Responsible to design and implement multi product solution use cases while reviewing existing to ensure market validity,
- To conduct solution demonstrations, enablement and proof of concepts if required,
- Responsible in preparing Solution Presentation, Proposals and Bill of Material,
- Work closely with the Sales, business leads and field teams to ensure closure on opportunities in the pipeline,
- To prepare and deliver presentations, communicating the value proposition, technology solutions, benefits of security technical webinars and business case to partners,
- Providing end-to-end solution expertise along with best practices, architecture diagrams, assisting in assessments and migrations,
- To participate and contribute in Vendor RFP/RFI responses,
- To deliver sales and technical enablement training internally to Tech Data sales teams or externally to the reseller base (not a core competency),
- To Support Country's Solution / Presales Team for any technical related enquiries,
- To Support Country's Product / Channel Sales Team in prospecting new opportunities through fact finding, solutioning and technical pitch,
- Some support of internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA's),
- To be kept updated on latest technologies within the Solution Domain,
- Report directly to solutions manager.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent experience certifications preferred,
- Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience,
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of security solutions and other general technologies such as: advanced networking, security or/and cloud would be added advantage,
- Professional Technical Certifications within the Security is a must,
- IT Distributor and/or SI experience would also be an added advantage,
- Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management,
- Proven ability to work independently, team-work and multi-task effectively,
- Self-motivated and flexible.
