SUMMARY

This is an administrative position involving various accounting related functions, including the computer entry and maintenance of data relating to accounts payable. It includes the planning and performing of various duties to collect and process data accurately and timely within the specifications of standard practice. It requires regular contact within and outside the company, supplying and seeking information tactfully and with discretion.

RESPONSIBLES AND DUTIES

Under general supervision is responsible for the following major tasks:

- Submit invoices in AP technology in a timely manner.
- Verify invoices for accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies that may occur with invoices, POs, vendors, and US plants.
- Assist others with the understanding of the AP technology process.
- Extract and upload invoices for payment from AP technology to CMS for payment for all US plants and Mexico.
- Reconcile monthly statements.
- Verify payments for vendors as requested.
- Cross-check receivers against receiving log for completeness.
- Perform 3-way match for tool room invoices, receivers, and POs.
- Encode invoices with G/L account numbers.
- Enter intercompany invoices.
- Maintain required files.
- Create A/P batches on a weekly basis.
- Process check runs twice a week for US plants and Hong Kong.
- Extract T&E technology batches weekly.
- Perform month end/year end tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain customer [computer] data files.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Complete month-end reconciliations of general ledger accounts

A minimum of 2 years of college or specialized training is preferred.

Speak/read/write both English and Vietnamese languages.

Possesses the ability to learn routines quickly, train others for routine positions and gather information.
