The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

**Develop and Implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards**:

- Participate in the creation and implementation of comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards for all product categories, including FMCG, fashion, electronics, and lifestyle products;
- Ensure the control policies, procedures, and standards align with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices;
- Regularly review and update the quality control policies, procedures, and standards to reflect product evolution, market changes, and emerging compliance requirements.

**Inbound Product Inspection**:

- Review product quality documentation collected from suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations before product launch;
- Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues through the Sourcing team.

**Ongoing Product Quality Consistency**:

- Monitor the quality of ongoing product lines in inventory, ensuring consistency in quality across all batches;
- Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure all products meet relevant safety regulations and legal requirements before being sold on the platform;
- Conduct risk assessments for new product categories and implement measures to mitigate potential quality issues.

**Customer Complaint Resolution**:

- Collaborate with the customer service team to investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints;
- Use customer feedback to refine quality standards and improve supplier quality;
- Other tasks/duties assigned by Head of Department/ Line Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred);
- 4-6 years of experience in quality control. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consignment-based businesses is preferred;
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality standards for diverse product categories;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and collaborative attitude;
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing order and suppliers;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities;
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices;
- Certification in quality control (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
