We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend architecture, extensive experience in PHP frameworks, and expertise in designing and developing REST APIs.

This role requires a leader who can mentor developers, establish coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed. Proficiency in English communication, especially in reading and writing, is essential. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with technologies like Linux, Git, and containerization platforms is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement APIs, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
  • Create comprehensive technical designs and ensure they are properly documented and communicated to the team.
  • Develop and maintain backend architecture to support scalable, extendible, and reliable applications.
  • Accountable for working on code reviewing, bug fixing, and assisting QA/QC Team.
  • Actively participate in projects workshops and understanding requirements.
  • Providing time estimates for new initiatives.
  • Mentor and assist junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting best development practices.
  • Establish coding standard and best practices to train developers produce clean, efficient code.
  • Understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.
RequirementsMust Have
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, 5 years as technical leader, 2 years of Architect role.
  • Good communication in English (focus more in Reading and Writing).
  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel/Lumen, MySQL, good experience with Drupal, WordPress, knows their pros/cons.
  • Rich experience designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Experience with Linux and the associated services used for web applications (Nginx, Apache2).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to learn new technologies when required.
Nice to Have
  • Experience building technical proposals for presale team.
  • Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker, Docker compose, Kubernetes.
  • Chinese speaking is a great plus.
  • Any additional programming language is a plus.
  • Experience in Magento development is a plus.
  • Experience in Phalcon development is a plus.
  • Involvement in the Drupal community is a big plus.
  • Experience in working with WeChat Mini Program or APP is a plus.

The estimated salary for this position is between $100,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
