**The Opportunity**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Participates in the design and implementation of technical support activities related to health financing.
- Stays updated on key developments in health finance and resource allocation innovations and interventions in order to inform technical support activities under the project.
- Prepares health financing analyses, recommendations, briefing notes, and assessments for internal and client use.
- Provide technical content towards successful implementation of health finance activities at the national and provincial level.
- Document health financing success stories/lessons learned.
- Provides technical contributions to assessments, research, and evaluation of topics related to health financing.
- Supervises short-term local consultants assigned to health financing activities.
- Other tasks as relevant to the position’s job description.

**What We Value**
- Master’s Degree + 7 years of relevant experience in health, financing or related disciplines with commensurate work experience in health financing.
- Demonstrated experience of Minimum five years of relevant work experience in health financing, costing and financial research.
- Experience in health financing for HIV or TB preferred.
- Familiarity with Vietnam’s health budgeting processes and SHI scheme.
- Report writing and presentation skills are strongly required.
- Sound knowledge of methodologies used in health finance research, cost-effectiveness analysis, statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with government agencies.
- Fluent in Vietnamese, with good oral and written communication skills in English.
