Your role

The Research Assistant will provide research support to specific projects attached to one of six research clusters. One dedicated project is “Crowdsourcing Innovation Platform for Vietnam”. Working under the Project Leads, the Research Assistant will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day research support activities of the projects, acting as first point of contract for all enquiries related to the projects, and provide support when needed.

Report to: Chief Investigator

Key Accountabilities- Coordinate the activities of the project titled “Crowdsourcing Innovation Platform for Vietnam”, including secretariat support for project meetings- Academic literature reviews and database searches on open innovation, crowdsourcing, and the related topics- Develop internal and external contacts to related companies using open innovation and experts in the fields- Conducting, recording, and transcribing interviews in English or Vietnamese, with translation if required-
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data- Prepare presentations, reports and publications- Assist the Cluster leads and research cluster members with data collection and the collation of results- Plan day-to-day research activity and/or coordinate activities with project leads and members- Draft reports related to research activity outcomes

Key Selection Criteria- University graduate degree (Masters or doctorate) in Arts, Science, Social Science or Business.- Demonstrated research experience in primary or secondary data collection.- Ability to use NVivo and SPSS is preferred.- Knowledge of literature review databases.- Ability to conduct analytical research, to analyse, interpret, evaluate, coordinate as well as report resulting information.- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Demonstrated ability in liaising with people at all levels, in particular project team.- Experience in preparing research reports and graphic presentations of data.- Problem solving skills that assures detailed follow-up when required.- Well-developed planning and organizational skills with proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks, set and meet deadlines and give attention to detail.-
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as required.- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.

English Proficiency
