**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

British American Tobacco currently has an exciting new opportunity for the Key Account Manager position, to be based in our Ho Chi Minh Office. The role objective is to develop and execute key account & respective channels operational plan which meets brand, distribution, volume & consumer segment for key account objectives of the region. This role is also to ensure the efficient utilization of approved budgets and personnel to achieve national, regional and area specific Trade Marketing and Distribution objectives.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Implement the Key Account & Channel Operational Plans in the respective area/region to ensure effective execution in line with the Trade Operational Plan.
- Achievement of Brand share/volume, distribution, visibility OOS, freshness minimizing stock return objectives for Key Account & respective channels at area/regional level
- Manage daily operations of KAEs within respective area/region to ensure excellence execution:

- Ensure Trade Coverage Plan of all KAEs are smoothly executed
- Ensure consumer pricing policy index is policed and respected in the KA stores
- Ensure Merchandising plans are executed with excellence within respective channel and area
- Develop and maintain business relationships/ partnerships with key accounts, retailers
- Ensure all trade activity to be run OTIF within respective channel and area
- Assess business performance of company and competitors in key accounts then provide feedback to relevant stakeholders in order to enhance effectiveness of developed trade programmes.
- Coordinate implementation of Brand and Trade programmes in respective channel in the area, provide guidelines to the KAE regarding retail planogram and merchandising materials
- Manage budget for Key Account &Channel programs effectively for the respective channel within the area/region
- Ensure that internal control procedures are followed in relation to the identification and resolution of cash and stock shortage discrepancy.
- Be responsible for developing the business and people for KA channel at respective area/region
- To be a key contact, coordinator of respective region with KA HQ team

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University graduate with solid academic results
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing/ Distribution in a sizeable FMCG company (preferable an MNC)
- Understanding and experience of managing Trade Marketing, Customer Engagement, Account Management and Field operations.
- Excellent selling, negotiation & influencing skills
- Experience in motivating, coaching and developing bigger team.
- Demonstrated analytical, think both strategically & conceptually. Business and financial acumen.
- Good at spoken and written English
