We’re looking for a **_Head of Legal, APAC_** to bring legal leadership to Noventiq’s APAC region. You’ll be a part of our global Legal, Governance and Compliance team reporting to the General Counsel based in London, with a dotted line to the VP APAC.

Job overview: You’ll bring leadership to the legal function for our APAC region, and you’ll work closely with colleagues in the Legal, Governance and Compliance team, as well as external advisors, to ensure high quality, commercially focused legal advice to a dynamic team.

**What you’ll do**:
Duties with this role include but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and drafting a broad range of agreement types, including contracts, master services agreements, subcontracts, secondment agreements, confidentiality agreements and reliance letters.
- Working with colleagues to enforce the organisation's corporate governance and compliance policies.
- Supporting risk management advice to staff at all levels of the business.
- Managing external counsel in various jurisdictions where the organisation works across APAC (including in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and other jurisdictions in the region).
- Supporting other departments and functions as required.
- Providing support to M&A activity.

This role will be a good fit for a mid-level commercial lawyer, looking to take on a leadership role within a dynamic commercial in-house team that is very business focused, providing end-to-end service with a wide variety of work and responsibilities. Within a busy team and mutually supportive environment, you will enjoy high value work across the business.

**About you**:

- You will have gained your early legal experience in recognised law firm.
- You will likely have worked as part of an in-house legal team (ideally for an international company), or have the drive and aptitude to make the move in-house.
- It is a pre-requisite that you possess a well-developed understanding of commercial, contract and risk management issues (including a good understanding of the compliance issues) facing a global business.
- You will be located in the APAC region, ideally in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand or one of our other jurisdictions.
- Be fluent in English (spoken and written/legal drafting), with fluency in other regional languages desirable.
