**Job description**:
**Position Description**

As the AI Researcher/Engineer, we are looking for members to join our AI team. You will work closely with all stakeholders to architect efficient APIs to survey latest research trend and build accurate models on various tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy R&D and be challenged and grow in the field of AI-First software / product development. Along the way this role will contribute to game-changing products for the multi-trillion-dollar industry.

**Responsibilities and Performance Objectives**
- Research, monitor, optimize and evaluate the performance of machine learning models, ensuring high quality and accuracy of AI Systems;
- Design and implement data preprocessing pipelines to support training and evaluation of machine learning systems;
- Make proposals of appropriate technical solution approaches to client issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in natural language processing and machine learning techniques, and propose their adoption where applicable;
- Explore and implement hardware-specific optimizations for LLM training and inference on large distributed systems.

**Your skills and experience**:
**Skills and Experience Required**
- At least 1 year of experience in Deep Learning-Framework such as Tensorflow and Pytorch.
- At least 1 year of experience in developing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting with Python.
- BS degree or equivalent practical experience in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- **Domain knowledge**: Computer Vision/ NLP/ Speech Processing
- Ability to quickly catch up on inexperienced mathematical models /libraries.
- Fluent in English, good communication skills and a good team player.

**Plus**:

- Experience in infrastructure construction (AWS, GCP, Docker, etc.)
- Development/ employment experience of AI/ Machine Learning engineers and researchers.
- Presentation experience in journals or international conferences in related fields.
- Top prizes in Kaggle and competition programming.
