**The Position**

The **Security Operations Analyst (SecOps) **plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations, project planning and implementation of OPSWAT's internal security functions. By performing forensic investigation, administering vulnerability management toolsets, validating patch management actions, advising on infrastructure architecture planning, responding to incidents, and identifying improvements to security technology, scope, and functions. The **Security Operations Analyst (SecOps) **is a trusted partner and security best practices advocate to all areas of the business. This position's goal will be to improve security controls in the technology estate by helping align tools and technology to industry best practice and standards frameworks.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Support L1/L2 team members by providing expertise in best practices, process improvements, and escalated incidents.
- Provide improvements to incident and event correlation fidelity related to incident monitoring, alerting, and management processes.
- Perform technology resilience exercises and incident response efforts.
- Partner with internal product and technology teams during projects and initiatives, providing guidance promoting alignment to internal policies, standards, and security best practice.
- Work closely with internal teams to perform internal and external testing of products and services.
- Promote continuous improvement of OPSWAT's security posture.

**What We Need from You**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical security role.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience of SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, vulnerability assessment tools, cloud infrastructure, EDR, cyber threats, attack vectors, exploitation methods and IOC's.
- Strong communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with various department and third-party personnel with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
- Information Security certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, OSCP, etc.
- Demonstrated experience of cyber security concepts, cloud platform security, risk management, network security, and data security.
- Experience of next generation firewall configuration and best practices.
