Projects & Optimization Lead - Fraud, Operations

Department Operations- LevelExperienced (Team Lead)- LocationVietnam - Ho Chi Minh CityThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Work closely with upper leadership to shape fraud team’s mission and strategy to ensure alignment with overall company/department business direction
- Develop fraud forecast model to estimate the scale of fraud impact and conduct workforce and task planning accordingly
- Analyze and identify areas for optimization to drive targeted initiatives to maximize team efficiency and productivity
- Monitor performance and initiate actions to improve fraud prevention, detection and cancellation
- Research competition and market to leverage market best practice to constantly improve our defense against fraudster
- Drive and programme manage local/regional projects and strategic initiatives

**Requirements**:

- College degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience, preferred in consulting or ecommerce
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking
- Strong strategic thinking and planning
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong project management and stakeholder management
- Good team management skills
