**Your Job**:
As a Sr. Manager, HR you’ll play a key role in influencing how people work across multiple countries in the Asia Region (Vietnam, Taiwan, China, and Indonesia). Our Asia Region is predominantly made up of employees that support our Footwear and Apparel manufacturing. In addition, this role will support our smaller in scale, Sales and Marketing Team in Shanghai, China. You will be responsible for supporting Brooks HR Operations and Talent Management efforts in our growing business. You will balance the requirement to think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and dive deep into operations.

You spend much of your day advising and influencing functional leaders through strategic consultative efforts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of global HR programs. These programs include, but are not limited to Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Org Design, Performance Management, Cultural Strengths, Employee Relations, Payroll, and Compensation Management. Your central task is to set Brooks up to scale in our Asia Region.

Our offices across the Asia Region conduct business in English. You will directly lead HR team members in China, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Talent and Culture Leadership**:

- Grow talent capabilities across the Region by facilitating and delivering programs that support performance management, talent assessment, and training.
- Take a lead role in delivering our Cultural Strengths Survey to the Asia Region. Ensure conversations and planning are happening at the sub functional level and that each functional leader is accountable for driving progress.
- Provide advice and influence on business unit restructures, workforce planning, leadership succession planning, and retention planning. Work with business leaders on change management.
- Tracks trends in employee behaviors and shares insights and recommendations with the HR leadership team and the Asia Lead Triad for action.
- Manage a small recruiting function focused on the acquisition of top talent to staff our locations in Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
- Develop and incorporate HR and business metrics to assess internal and external talent needs and trends and use that data to inform HR strategies.
- The HR team takes a lead role in planning and facilitating quarterly townhall meetings, annual employee trip, and the Lunar New Year party. This role will often play a welcoming/MC role in these events.
- ** Program Leadership**:

- Communicate and deliver regionally relevant HR initiatives serving as a liaison between HR HQ and the Asia Region. Maintain open lines of communication with managers and employees on HR service-related issues.
- Work across HR disciplines (Compensation, Operations, People Programs & Recruiting) to ensure an integrated and high-quality delivery of programs.
- Build project plans that align to HR strategies and track milestones and report on the people/project deliverables. Own communications to project members and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks including regular, status updates, minutes of meetings, etc.
- ** Compliance Leadership**:

- Provide advice, counsel, and support in resolving employee performance issues, disputes, and other sensitive matters.
- Lead and resolve potentially complex employee issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements in all countries represented pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees.
