**LEGAL & COMPLIANCE LEAD**:
The Legal & Compliance Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the legal integrity and regulatory compliance of our company's operations within the dynamic landscape of IDP business encompassing IELTS, Student Placement, and English Language Training. Tasked with overseeing the entire spectrum of legal affairs, from managing licenses and regulatory reporting to providing strategic legal advice and resolving complex legal matters, the Legal & Compliance Lead ensures that our organization operates ethically, efficiently, and in full compliance with global and local regulations.

With a focus on mitigating legal risks, fostering compliance, and supporting business objectives, this role is instrumental in safeguarding the legal interests and reputation of our company.

**Position Description**:

- Manage company’s licenses: Register and renew various licenses related to IDP business in IELTS, Student Placement, and English Language Training.
- Design report tracker and manage all types of compulsory reports to be submitted to relevant government departments.
- Develop legal strategies and solutions, staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s business.
- Conduct legal research, identify potential legal risks, and provide guidance and support to the business operations team.
- Provide legal advice on various issues including competition and consumer law, Intellectual Property, labor, work permit, tax, investment, commercial, technology, employment, privacy, data security, and corporate governance
- Advise departments to follow internal rules, regulations, and operating procedures, ensuring compliance with global regulations.
- Conduct compliance reviews to ensure compliance with procedures and oversee the implementation of ethical and risk compliance programs.
- Manage the documentary system, working with departments to design a filing system for important documents.
- Draft and review legal documents such as company policies, labor agreements, and commercial contracts to ensure compliance with local laws.
- Participate in resolving cases related to labor discipline, trademarks, lawsuits, and complaints, dispute resolution, etc...
- Collaborate with outside counsel as needed for legal opinions or handling claims and litigation.

**Position Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Law, Law Practitioner certificate is one preference.
- At least 7 years’ experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house environment
- Fluently in both English & Vietnamese (in both writing & presentation).
- Experience on working with government departments.
- Experience on managing various cases related to business license, labor.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills
- Team oriented approach Previous experience working in a global firm organization.
- Experience in education or services sectors is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and assess business processes/products, spot issues and structure practical solutions.
- Excellent legal and business judgment along with diligence in meeting commitments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
