Fortna Product R&D Team is looking for a Product Owner (PO) with Supply Chain, Retail, and Warehouse Systems experience. As a member of the Product R&D team, the Product Owner (PO) is a member of the extended Product Management team and a crucial member of the Agile Team. The PO owns the sprint backlog and is a key point of contact to the Dev team for epic and user story details. The PO is responsible for defining and refining epics and user stories, representing VOC, helping prioritize the Agile Team backlog, and helping the team deliver. This role is critical to enabling Dev teams to improve and maintain high velocity / productivity in iteration (sprint) execution.

The PO also has a significant role in quality control and is empowered to accept stories as done, ensuring the acceptance criteria has been met. This role has responsibility for building strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including working with the principal Product Manager, who is responsible for the Product Backlog and Roadmap.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develops deep understanding of CX, especially at a tactical and transactional level. This requires travelling to Client sites to design, observe, and gather VOC.- Collaborates with agile team and key stakeholders to write user stories and document requirements including defining terminology and diagraming processes.- Builds and maintains Agile team backlog and Reviews and prioritizes agile team backlog for sprint planning, including coordination of dependencies with other POs.- Works with principal product manager to break epics into user stories and to plan releases.- Maintains high availability to dev team to answer real-time questions and provide clarity.- Collaborates with system and solution architect/engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the technical infrastructure that will host new business functionality.- Participates in team demo with responsibility for reviewing and accepting user stories including validation that stories meet acceptance criteria and definition of done.- Actively participates in agile ceremonies and supports agile processes, working to continuously improve user stories to increase velocity and quality of the program.- Maintains collaborative working relationships with Clients, business stakeholders, and R&D team.- Develops and maintains professional, technical, and domain knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing industry publications; and active participation in relevant professional networks, societies, and training.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering or related field- 3+ years of relevant experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, Business/System Analyst, Solutions/System Engineer, or Scrum Master- 2+ years in agile software product development environment including using Jira, Aha or similar- 2+ years of combined experience in dev ops, data warehouse, or similar technical field- Strong ability to document technical requirements including the ability to write concisely and clearly for various audiences and to visually illustrate processes, problems, and translate technical concepts to business value- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, technical and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence- Familiarity with UX/UI process including design, wireframes, and testing- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills- Ability to travel nationally and internationally in the range of 20% of the time
