**Role Responsibilities**

To direct and control the day to day MFA/Billing & Ops Supports team through timely and accurate completion / delivery of services / products, ensuring clients’ interest are fully protected and delivering value added services to clients in accordance to established procedures, regulations and laws and Group business need

**Strategy**

**Business**
- To direct and control the day to day MFA/Billing & Ops Supports team through timely and accurate completion / delivery of services / products, ensuring clients’ interest are fully protected and delivering value added services to clients in accordance to established procedures, regulations and laws and Group business need
- To provide the control on overall Securities Ops Governance framework, including but not limited to SCM /Outsourcing Process, Regulatory Reports, Data control and owner for SS Ops, Vendor (both internal and External) Managements and review, SS Ops system control and management, HR of SS Ops related-matters (JD/DOP/DA/POA) management and other tasks when required by SS Ops Head.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the local stakeholder (e.g. regulators / VSD/ BIDV) and other division within the Bank.
- Be cost effective; optimise utilisation of resources.
- Ensure timely response to queries; provide quality services to clients.
- Keep update with changes in local regulations and market specification.
- Be responsible for reporting.

Business support:

- Actively support the sales and services culture of the Bank.
- To provide positive feedback to clients on areas for improvement with the aim of strengthening client relationship.
- Maintain good relationship with stakeholder specially VSD, SSC, HNX, HSX, BIDV, SBV, MOF, brokers and other stakeholders.

**Processes**
- Direct control and process all MFA function including (but not limited to) BP & SCA maintenance, data reference, etc. and other supporting tasks such as client handling, reporting, reconciliation, billing and invoicing etc.
- To provide the control on overall Securities Ops Governance framework, including but not limited to SCM /Outsourcing Process, Regulatory Reports, Data control and owner for SS Ops, Vendor (both internal and External) Managements and review, SS Ops system control, review and management, BCP plan and management, HR of SS Ops related-matters (JD/DOP/DA/POA) management and other tasks when required by SS Ops Head.
- Ensure that all client data and set-up requirements are accurately recorded on all systems and files.
- Ensure customers’ account documentation and the Department’s transactional documents are effectively managed for control as well as retrieval purposes.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of securities, fees and timely follow up with settlement/ CA team for discrepancy of securities and cash;
- Liaise with both external parties (e.g. brokers, VSD, Stock Exchange,) and internal parties (e.g. CSCU, CMO, Hub teams, CRDM team) to avoid potential losses/risks resulting from inaccurate/ late client data update, inaccurate pricing update, SI maintenance or discrepancy investigation.
- Manage and avoid risks to clients, bank / group by ensuring prompt and accurate reporting to client/ management, timely recertification and / or monitoring of any discrepancies identified through reconciliation.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of service to customers in order to retain existing business relationships, attract new customers, thereby contributing towards increasing the earnings of the Department through fee-based income.
- Constantly monitor, review and improve operational procedures, workflows and controls to strive for efficiencies of time and costs, increase productively and prevent frauds and avoid losses to the Bank.
- Ensure operations are within guidelines and in compliance with regulatory requirement and within the Bank’s established procedures.
- Assist in planning and implementation of Department’s strategies as well as customers services.
- Provide relief / assistance to fellow officers in their absence according to Back-up plan.
- To perform vault management tasks as required.
- To provide data to CRRU team for regulatory reporting.
- To monitor nostro, sundry and suspense accounts and stock reconciliations done by GRH on daily basic and ensure outstanding items are controlled under Group Escalation Grid for reconciliation function
