ROLE SUMMARY
- Lead medical to medical communications in the field. This role considered as field based medical activities with at least 90% of their time in customer interaction.
- The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for the development of KOL stakeholder strategy, execution of external medical engagement with designated portfolio within Vietnam.
- The Medical Science Liaison is also responsible for quantifying field medical impact, serve as a conduit and resource for Medical Information and customer insights, providing requested information to HCPs as allowed by Pfizer guidance and sharing customer viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
- The Medical Science Liaisonl is responsible for contribution and implement the medical planning through the insights gained in the field.
- The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance in execution of medical to medical initiatives and stakeholder-centric engagement.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

External Medical and Scientific engagement implementation
- Leading relationships with Health Care Professionals travelling across locations as well as providing support virtually.
- Gaining deep understanding of Health Care Professional needs, sharing expert medical advice, tailoring data, delivering medical to medical activities, connecting them to relevant internal Pfizer people whenever they need it.
- Provide objective and scientifically medical information regarding Pfizer's product portfolio and the diseases states treated.
- Incorporating the use of educational programs, outcome and other tools which identify for improving patient care.
- Develop, interpret, and localize standards materials and toolkit, KPIs, dashboard, and working mechanism, which could facilitate launch excellence and resource optimization
- Contribute to the medical planning for brand/asset team projects and activities, and work with relevant medical managers to develop and implement the medical planning through the insights gained in the field

External Collaboration Projects:

- Ensure timely and efficient communication to complete required internal/external process including system administration, maintain good documentation, tracking, payment, material, and drug shipment in a timely manner.

Pfizer-Sponsored Research and Investigator-Sponsored Research:

- Coordinating with Medical Affairs Manager and/or other medical colleagues for medical stakeholder engagement in research and ensure compliance of operational requirements

Training and Development
- Capability development, building high performance field medica team, enhancing sharing of best practice and cross-BU/cross-functional collaborations.
- Ensure capability (excluding scientific knowledge) related to field medical execution, quality of operation and compliance
- Solicit and consolidate feedback from external and internal stakeholders in relation to team effectiveness, quantify and communicate the value and effectiveness of field-based medical activities

Other Medical Affairs projects as defined by the Country Medical Lead and Medical Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Degree (preferred) or a degree in the Health Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Psychology and other allied health disciplines.)
- Degree in advanced sciences or post-graduate courses preferred
- Previous experience in clinical affairs, regulatory affairs or field interaction in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Experiences in new product launch and post-launch product management in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal (including medical writing and presentation skills) and good at English
- Experience in field-based medical role, prefer in MNC companies.
