**Job description**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded Linux systems.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, security testing... on embedded devices.
- Identify, isolate, and document software defects and issues.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and hardware engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies and best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

**Your skills and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in embedded Linux testing or a similar role.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture (including hardware components, peripherals, and system-on-chip (SoC) platforms) and principles.
- Solid understanding of different types of testing, including but not limited to unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, stress testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for embedded Linux systems, including defining test objectives, scope, methodology, and timelines.
- Experience in analyzing project requirements, identifying testing requirements, and creating detailed test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded systems testing and quality assurance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with embedded development tools and environments.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA system
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).
- Graduated from Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
