**Responsibilities**:
**Job Description Overview**:

- Manage a technology budget and align investments with the company's technological demands to make executive-level technology decisions.
- Co-operate with the Managing Director to make impactful business decisions by:

- Administering technological resources; developing the technological vision, strategy, and expansion plans
- Safeguarding the safety of systems and assets by conducting quality control and assurance procedures
- Foreseeing demands in the present and future to establish new business opportunities
- Sustaining technological budget while maximizing the ROI for technology assets and resources.

**Specific responsibilities**:
Network and infrastructure design and operations
- Ensure the technology architecture of the business supports the business’s priorities in a complex setting.
- Guarantee the scalability, reliability, security, and resilience of the network and infrastructure (cloud and on premises).
- Manage all alterations to the system architecture and design.
- Compare, determine, and deploy technological solutions that cater to current and future demands.
- Helps businesses comprehend and solve complex challenges by providing many solution options and technical concepts in a comprehensible format.
- Maintain an awareness of emerging technological trends and best practices that may enhance our company's competitive advantage.
- Take the lead in terms of intellectual leadership, innovation, and uniqueness.
- Instruct businesses to employ our technologies properly and effectively.

Governance and Compliance
- Standardize technological practices in accordance with international standards and ensure organization-wide compliance.
- Standardize procedures Establish standard procedures for the acquisition, development, and deployment of hardware and software to ensure alignment with the company's objectives and budget.
- Develop data protection and quality assurance procedures to ensure our systems’ adherence to global security and privacy standards such as PCIDSS and data.

Project and commercial management
- Interact frequently with business leaders to comprehend their business concerns and opportunities, and to discuss the technology plan and road map.
- Develop innovative products and extension in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations departments.
- Manage the prioritization of technology initiatives and resource allocation.
- Work with technical solution suppliers to uncover upcoming technologies that would improve our product and service offerings.
- Negotiate and manage technology contracts with our CFO to obtain the most favourably commercial outcome and ROI for the firm.

Leadership
- Initiate technical leadership and direction for tech teams.
- Create a highly effective collaborative atmosphere that heightens accountability, clear effective communication, and customer service.
- Develop the necessary skills within the team to guarantee that they are capable of delivering the desired results.

**Experience requirements**:
**Experience**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a similar capacity.
- Deep understanding of cloud solutions, systems architecture and API.
- Experienced in IT operational management practices and frameworks, data privacy and security.
- Hands-on experience with complex project management.
- Capability to effectively manage technology and project budgets.
- Proven ability in managing technical teams.
- Prior knowledge of travel distribution technology is preferred.

**Education requirements**:

- Computer Science or Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
