Logistics Excellence Lead

The Logistics Excellence Lead is responsible for deploying the Logistics Excellence program across the country, both Ambient & Frozen network. This includes:

- To drive operational excellence in transportation & warehousing operations exploiting and optimizing Unilever’s use of warehouse design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon ( DC Operational Excellence and New DC Development if any)
- Responsible to monitor Operation’s productivity and work with Regional/local country/Operations management teams to drive process optimization / productivity improvement / quality improvement / cost reduction.
- Lead initiatives on ABC, Warehouse design, MHE, Setting up Optimal Warehouse processes (Put away, Replenishment, Picking etc.), Regional 3PL engagement, Warehouse Transition management, Internal & external benchmarks on Warehouse performance, Set up & drive improvement in Warehouse KPIs
- Partner with Procurement in Supplier performance management (Linfox, LINEAGE, In-house transporter)
- Partner with CSE on Go to Market strategy for distribution (Fulfilment Center, Last Mile Delivery, Serve for Multi Channel)
- Capability development (Training, Coaching with standard License to Operate - Bronze/Silver/Gold Belt)

REQUIREMENT
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or relevant.
- Deep knowledge of 3PL/4PL Operations management, ideally in FMCG/Retail industries
- Detailed understanding of Continuous Improvement frameworks, Data Analysisc techniques and methods (LEAN, 6Sigma)
- Detailed understanding of B2B IT systems and WMS in order to discuss/ translate Business requirements to IT counterparts
- Process mapping (Value Stream Mapping) and problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks and improve productivity
- Have knowledge about E-commerce, Fulfilment Center, Last Mile Delivery is prefered
