Position Summary

The Senior Talent Sourcing Advisor is responsible for developing and leading the way to enhance and strengthen relationships across Academic and non-Academic schools and portfolios, ensuring RMIT Vietnam recruitment strategy and delivery is of high quality, consistent and professional.

The position drives and supports attraction and selection of the best talent to shape RMIT Vietnam, by collaborating and consulting on the best service and recruitment methodologies with a key focus on proactive talent mapping and search activities for current and future vacancies.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

Key Accountabilities

Talent Mapping & Strategic talent acquisition
- Drive proactive recruitment activities; mapping and developing required Talent Pools
- Work closely with the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and Mobility on strategic senior and executive level recruitment; global talent mapping, pre-screen and selection process interviewing and feedback, promoting employer brand, innovative end to end recruitment and selection practices, and talent pool development.
- Investigate and drive potential talent resource sharing initiatives between RMIT Vietnam and RMIT Australia, supporting key stakeholders with discussions and terms of engagement
- Recommend fact-based strategic sourcing strategies and talent maps to enhance RMIT VN ability to attract top global talent across niche and ‘hard to find’ positions.
- Present advice and negotiate complex issues and concepts persuasively to achieve objectives.

Executive search
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the schools/portfolio people landscape at RMIT Vietnam, as well as future vacancies, flight risks and successions plans
- Recommend fact-based strategic sourcing strategies and talent maps to enhance RMIT VN ability to attract top global talent across niche and ‘hard to find’ positions.
- Proactively approach talent to discuss opportunities at RMIT Vietnam and promote our brand globally.
- Articulate our service model and RMIT Vietnam policies relating to recruitment, mobility and benefits.
- Consult on market and competitor information and support the TA team to increase understanding and insight of recruitment trends and market intelligence

Stakeholder Management
- Represent the VN People team at key senior stakeholder meetings and forums and meetings.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and relevant People partners across academic and non-academic portfolios, to understand workforce demand to drive future recruitment planning

General
- Lead by example, coaching and mentoring other team members (People Team) to ensure personal growth and career progression
- Be a RMIT Brand Ambassador, championing RMIT Vietnam at industry and networking events and forums
- Enhance utilisation of Labour Market Data to effectively contribute to monitoring & evaluation of employment opportunities locally and internationally.
- As a HR team member, contribute to develop and/or enhance policies, procedures and systems to support HR ‘best practice”

- Key Selection Criteria
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar senior position with focus on international recruitment. Internal recruitment experience is desirable.
- Significant experience in stakeholder relationship partnering across complex processes relating to Recruitment / Talent - with confidence and abil
