General Manager

The Managing Director will lead the company by driving strategic growth, overseeing the company's operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering consultancy services. The role requires a strong background in civil/structural engineering, proven leadership skills, and the ability to shape and implement the company’s vision and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
**1. Strategic Leadership**:
- Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve business growth and financial stability.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the company’s portfolio of services and projects.
- Lead long-term planning, including business development and risk management.
**2. Operational Management**:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high
- quality standards.
- Implement best practices and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage resources, including hiring, training, and retaining top engineering talent.
**3. Financial Oversight**:
- Develop and manage the annual budget in line with strategic objectives.
- Monitor financial performance, implement cost-control measures, and drive profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
**4. Client Relationship Management**:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead high-level negotiations and oversee major project contracts and partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events and maintain a positive company reputation.
**5. Governance and Compliance**:
- Ensure the company adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements related to civil and structural engineering projects.
- Uphold high standards of corporate governance and ethical practices.
- Report to the Board of Directors on company performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
**6. Innovation and Quality Assurance**:
- Champion innovation in design and engineering practices to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure continuous improvement in engineering standards and practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
**7. Team Leadership and Development**:
- Provide inspirational leadership and create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop the senior management team and foster professional growth throughout the organization.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field); Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
- Strong technical understanding in Civil or Structural Engineering to international standard (i.e. Eurocodes)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the engineering consultancy sector.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting, and achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make high-impact decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and a vision for growth and development within the engineering consultancy industry.
Pay: 250,000,000₫ - 350,000,000₫ per month
