F&b Marketing Coordinator

Coordinate with F&B and marketing team with banquet enquiries
- Update the web site, phones, and third party web sites with ongoing event information
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process
- Outreach and solicitation for event vendors
- Works closely with the marketing team including the Graphic Designer to produce flyers for the event, schedule social posts
- Serves as the marketing team’s point person in collaborating with F&B for related activities and promotions
- Liaise closely with other departments to co-ordinate customer requests/ requirements and ensure complete guest satisfaction
- Enhance awareness by providing product knowledge and promote promotions and information
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Network and maintain relations with clients and associates
- Achieve goal targets as assigned
- Perform indoor and outdoor functions
- Perform other duties as assigned by DOSM

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of similar experience in hotel industry
- Good command in both speaking and writing in English
- Good presentation and public speaking skills
- Showing strong initiative and creative skills
- Ability to build up and enhance business relationship with corporate clients
- Passionate, self-motivated, highly proactive, customer-orientated, cooperative and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft software, and property management systems (PMS)
