    Responsibilities:

Assist the Construction Manager to ensure all M&E works are completed within approved budget, quality and agreed timeline and according to owner's requirements.

Also, to ensure design and construction complies with local planning and design guidelines and safety requirement.

Job and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform technical assessment and evaluation for Contractors and Consultants during Tender stage.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including project service team, consultants, contractors and authorities regarding issues arising during planning and construction phases.
  • Review the consultant's designs, drawings and specifications to achieve good engineering and optimal cost.
  • Review technical inquiries and tender document during contractors & consultants prequalifications stage.
  • Ensure that the submitted Contractor Safety Manager complies with Company standards and guidelines and that contractors follow approved HSSE requirements on site.
  • Propose recommendations and implement solutions to arising MEP related problems.
  • Perform daily project management for all construction to ensure works are completed within budget, on schedule and with good quality.
  • Handle technical issues of project site and assist with authority submissions when required.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of work on site, including periodic site inspections and attendance at site meetings to ensure projects are carried out according to operating procedures, quality standards and contract specifications of the Company.
  • Carry out site inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP Systems.
  • Prepare and send monthly progress reports.
  • Assist in maintaining technical documents for audits.
  • Other special related tasks assigned by the company.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of design, construction and installation of buildings, facilities, etc.
  • Experience working in a multiple project environment.
  • Knowledge and skill in project management tools, reporting, processes and documentation.
  • Knowledge of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environmental) standards and procedures
  • Must be selfdriven and motivated to meet deadlines, high level of integrity, resourcefulness and resultoriented.
  • Strong initiatives with passion and drive to succeed, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Must be able to communicate and prepare reports in English.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree by Vietnam Government to practice Electrical Engineering or related field in Vietnam.
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of M&E supervision experience preferably within the construction or building services industry with Contractor or Developer company
  • Must be able to plan and implement M&E projects from inception to completion
  • Demonstrated experience in related M&E projects and power tunon, etc. and knowledge on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services
  • Good knowledge on MV, LV (medium voltage, low voltage), firefighting and other MEP systems.
  • Familiarity with architectural, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and supplier sources is necessary.
  • Familiar with design, local Code of Practices, Building and Fire Safety Regulations.
  • Experience working on projects within industrial parks is an advantage. Past experience in design and construction of industrial buildings is an advantage.
