Job Description Position Overview**:

  • We're seeking a skilled Unreal Engine Technical Artist with a strong background in UI, rendering, and a passion for game development. This role is ideal for someone proficient with Unreal Engine, specializing in UI design, mesh optimization, shaders, and visual scripting. You'll collaborate with a team of talented developers and artists to create visually stunning and technically sophisticated game assets and environments._

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI/UX Design: Develop and implement UI designs and layouts within Unreal Engine, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • 3D

Assets Optimization:
Optimize 3D models, textures, and materials for performance and visual quality in Unreal Engine. Able to develop scripts to speed up and scale up optimization for visual assets.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design, engineering, and art teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements into the overall game or interactive experience.
  • Visual Scripting: Leverage Blueprint scripting to develop interactive UI elements, animations, and user feedback systems.
  • Blueprint Implementation: Utilize Unreal Engine's Blueprint system to implement UI/UX elements, including menus, HUDs, interactive buttons, and widgets.
  • Utilize Unreal Engine's tools and features to enhance visual effects, lighting, and shading in game environments and assets.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate technical art solutions that support gameplay mechanics and aesthetics.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to art assets within Unreal Engine.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and techniques in Unreal Engine development and technical artistry.

Qualifications Required Qualifications**:

  • 34 years of experience as a Technical Artist or Game Artist in the game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, including UI development, mesh optimization, visual scripting, and shaders creation.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of game art production, including lighting, shading, and rendering pipelines.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Game Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience with visual scripting in Unreal Engine (Blueprints).
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or C#.
  • Knowledge of other game engines and UI/UX design tools, such as Unity, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Familiarity with VR/AR game development.
  • A passion for gaming and a keen eye for the latest industry trends and technologies.
