Seedify MetaStudios is seeking a skilled and passionate Junior Game Engineer to join our dynamic team working on the groundbreaking UGC platform Seedworld. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of game systems implementation using Unreal Engine and a desire to grow their skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with art, design, and development teams to ensure both visual and functional requirements are met.
  • Assist in implementing various game systems for prototyping and beyond.
  • Contribute to optimizing and improving existing systems, including gameplay, AI, and data management.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Stay updated on Unreal Engine developments and improvements.
  • Assist in debugging and profiling to identify and resolve issues.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus.
  • Experience in delivering timely prototypes or projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in crossdiscipline teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to scalable solutions.

Nice to have/Preffered/Bonus skills:

  • Basic knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
  • Interest or exposure to building MMOs, Metaverses, or AAA projects in Unreal Engine
  • Familiarity with blockchain projects is a plus.
  • Exposure to optimizing, profiling, and debugging in Unreal Engine
  • Experience in developing engine editor tools would be beneficial.

Team Structure:


You will be an integral part of a UE game engineering team (Seedwolrd), working closely with other UE engineers and also in contact with the design and art teams for various core aspects of the game development implementation, or assisting in their implementation along with other engineers.

100% remote
