The Content Moderator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of online platforms by reviewing, moderating, and monitoring user-generated content.

The role involves upholding community guidelines, filtering out inappropriate content, and ensuring a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Review and Moderation:

  • Review usergenerated content (text, images, videos) to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Approve or reject content based on predefined guidelines and policies.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain highquality standards in moderation processes.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve content policies and moderation techniques.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Document and report policy violations and trends in content.
  • Generate regular reports on moderation activities and outcomes.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with legal, security, and product teams on complex moderation issues.

User Support:

  • Respond to user inquiries and issues regarding content moderation.
  • Educate users on platform policies and community standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online community guidelines.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Proficient in using content management and moderation tools.
  • High tolerance for repetitive tasks and exposure to potentially distressing content.
