Responsibilities
:

This role will require the candidate to perform a variety of tasks, including running & End of Day (EOD) back-office system settlement processing, system process monitoring, and business analysis work for our US counterpart.

Backoffice System Settlement Processing Operator Role

Main tasks:

  • Checking to ensure Exchange SPAN files are downloaded & parsed by the system and manually parsing the previous day's file on Exchange Holidays where necessary.
  • Triggering and monitoring the EOD settlement processing until completion.
  • Error escalation to the vendor and fixing the error based on instructions.
  • Sending out client statements and all reports to clients.
  • Documenting the EOD process daily.

Business Analyst Role

Main Tasks:

  • Assist in validation testing of the Backoffice system enhancements and change management process.
  • Liaise with vendor and user teams on testing issues and/or UAT sign-off.
  • Coordinate with users on their change request requirements.
  • Follow through with issue tracking and solution implementation.

Requirements

  • Should have basic product knowledge of Exchange Traded Futures & Options
  • Prior operational experience in a brokerage firm is preferred.
  • Must be able to start work at 6.00 am local time.
  • Process-oriented, strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with various parties collaboratively.
