GenAI Fund Associate (Internship)

Help build the future of AI in Southeast Asia

GenAI Fund is Southeast Asia's first AI specialist fund focused on investing in and supporting Generative AI startups globally. We work closely with founders, enterprises, and investors to accelerate AI innovation through programs such as GenAI Open Innovation and the FastTrack AI Accelerator.

Our team brings together deep expertise in startup acceleration, enterprise adoption, venture investing, and AI commercialization. The founding partners and core members are former Amazon Web Services (AWS) leaders who have built and scaled startup and AI initiatives across the Asia Pacific region — working directly with thousands of startups, enterprises, and government agencies to drive digital and AI transformation.

We are looking for a hands-on and driven GenAI Fund Associate (Intern) to support our marketing, events, and operations. If you are passionate about AI and startups, and want to work at the intersection of innovation, investment, and enterprise collaboration, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Drive online marketing efforts to promote GenAI Fund's programs, content, and initiatives.
  • Manage social media, newsletters, and community updates to increase engagement.
  • Support content creation (articles, posts, visuals) to build thought leadership in AI.

Events & Operations

  • Support the planning and execution of high-impact AI programs and events, including GenAI Open Innovation and FastTrack AI Accelerator.
  • Coordinate with startups, corporate partners, and investors to ensure smooth event logistics.
  • Manage event marketing and communications to maximize visibility and participation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage communications with startup founders, corporate partners, and ecosystem leaders.
  • Coordinate partnerships and outreach to bring in strategic collaborators.
  • Support post-event follow-ups, track engagement, and gather insights for future programs.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills and Characteristics

  • Curious and fast learner with a strong interest in Generative AI, startups, and innovation.
  • Strong sense of ownership with the ability to take initiative and deliver results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Experience in stakeholder coordination and communications.
  • Experience in online marketing, including social media and content creation.
  • Experience handling and analyzing data using Excel, Google Sheets, or basic analytics tools.
