GenAI Fund is Southeast Asia's first AI-specialist venture fund focused on investing in and scaling AI startups, with a particular emphasis on Generative AI and enterprise adoption.

We sit at the intersection of:

• Investment
  – backing early-stage AI startups across ASEAN and beyond
• Enterprise AI Transformation
  – helping corporates and governments adopt AI through programs like
  GenAI Open Innovation
  and the
  FastTrack AI Accelerator
• Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Building
  – publishing market insights on AI, running AI Builders Meetups, and building an AI-powered platform that drives corporate innovation

Our founding partners and core team are former Amazon Web Services (AWS) leaders who have built and scaled startup and AI initiatives across ASEAN, working directly with thousands of startups, enterprises, and government agencies to drive digital and AI transformation.

We are looking for a
hands-on, driven GenAI Fund Associate (Intern)
to support our marketing, events, and operations as we scale our impact across the region. If you are passionate about AI and startups, and want to work where innovation, investment, and enterprise collaboration meet, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Communications

• Drive online marketing efforts to promote GenAI Fund's programs, reports, and initiatives.
• Manage and schedule content across social media (especially LinkedIn), newsletters, and community channels.
• Support content creation such as short posts, event recaps, startup spotlights, and simple visuals.
• Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across all channels.

2. Events & Program Operations

• Support planning and execution of GenAI Fund events and initiatives, including GenAI Open Innovation, FastTrack AI Accelerator, and AI Builders Meetups.
• Coordinate logistics and communication with startups, corporate partners, and ecosystem collaborators.
• Assist with event marketing, registration tracking, and on-site / online operational support.
• Support post-event tasks such as summarizing outcomes and gathering feedback.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Research

• Support communications with startup founders, corporate partners, and ecosystem leaders across Southeast Asia.
• Conduct light research on startups, industry trends, and potential partners.
• Maintain internal trackers and assist with follow-ups from programs and events.

RequirementsMust-Have Skills & Characteristics

• Strong interest in
  AI, startups, and innovation
  , especially enterprise and B2B use cases.
• Curious, fast learner who is comfortable figuring things out and asking good questions.
• Strong sense of
  ownership
  — you take initiative, follow through, and care about outcomes.
• Excellent
  written and verbal communication skills in English

• Highly organized with strong
  attention to detail
  , able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a
  remote, fast-moving, startup-style team
  across time zones.

• Experience in

  (LinkedIn content, basic copywriting, Canva, Mailchimp, etc.).
• Ability to handle and analyze data with

  Southeast Asian startup ecosystem

• Experience using multiple AI tools
  , such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or other productivity and content-generation tools.
